I started ringing in junior high school, with my church choir. I always thank this director for the guidance and inspiration she gave me at that age. Little did I know then it would be something I would be doing so many years later. I enjoy ringing with the Rocky Mountain Ringers and always look forward to the excitement and challenges with this group. As a teacher of 6th grade students, who learn to play handbells, it is fun to say, "This is something you can do your whole life." |

I started ringing handbells in 1987 at my church in western Nebraska and rang for 5 years. I joined Rocky Mountain Ringers in 2003 and hope to ring many more years with them. I used to teach K-12 vocal/instrumental music, was a travel agent for a while and worked in the telecom industry. I enjoy spending time with my partner Scott and our 3 dachshunds, Murphy, Madeline and Max. We also enjoy spending time on the central Oregon Coast where we would eventually like to retire. |

I started ringing bells at age ten back in 1972. We couldn’t play bells in my church until we were ten. I’ve played bells in many groups both church and community and sometime just cuz. I direct a group of children at my church on hand chimes, from ages four through second grade. The only thing I’ve been doing longer than handbells is breathing. I’ve been with RMR since August of 2009. This is never dull and I can’t image not playing handbells. |

I've been ringing handbells since 1987 and am truly "hooked". I ring with my church choir in Brush, CO as well as with Rocky Mountain Ringers where I am a founding member. I have attended many handbell festivals over the years, and have had the pleasure to participate at International Handbell Symposiums in Canada, Australia, Japan, England and the USA. Outside interests include attending all types of sporting events, my grandchildren, and fall is my favorite time of the year - it's football season! |
