About Us

 

Rocky Mountain Ringers is an auditioned community handbell ensemble of advanced ringers from the Denver metropolitan area that have been performing since 1996.

  • We perform advanced handbell compositions to foster individual artistic development and to further public appreciation for the medium through a commitment to musical excellence
  • We promote the art of handbell ringing through sponsoring and participating in festivals, workshops, tours and other educational and performing opportunities
  • We help less experienced handbell musicians to develop their ringing, directing and organizational skills
  • We commission new works for community handbell ensembles

We are fortunate to have two sets of Whitechapel handbells which gives us a great deal of flexibility.  We also have a hard to come by set of Petit and Fritsen handbells, and a set of Malmark Handchimes. 

  • Whitechapel set 1: 6 octaves (C3-C#9)
  • Whitechapel set 2: 4.5 octaves (E3-C8)
  • Petit and Fritsen: 3 octaves (C4-C7)
  • Malmark Handchimes: 5 octaves (C3-C8)
